When as a small business owner you build a website there are certain expectations as to its value. For one you want it to be found on all major search engines. The expectation is usually met with many challenges you have to think about. Before I move on to some of these challenges I want to introduce myself, Milo. I have been doing this competitively for longer than I have programmed. There is some information I am going to give you about what promises can be met and expectations that are too high.
- Do you have a Google Business Listing?
- What is the Domain Age, basically how new is your website?
- Did your web designer focus on all the right keywords?
- Are you using new search technologies on your site?
- Is your site listed or referred in many places?
- Do you already have some online reviews?
- Is you SEO team looking over your site metrics every three days?
- Are they using the same tools as everyone else?
Steps 1-8 matter but the key is the last one, number 8. I of course use my own tools but what I want you to understand is why this matters. Most SEO companies use 1 of 4 data metric tools to help design and rank your SEO. I want you to think about this and it is the number one reason why my sites move up so fast. If Google is looking for core items like keywords visibility among many other things but you and your competitors are all using the same tools there is a bit of redundancy to the data you are providing. Google will drop pages in order of submitted sitemap information. So if your page looks like 5 others that were submitted before you that means your rank will be 5. The biggest thing about SEO companies is that they rely on these tools heavily. I do not! I have built my own with Google API’s which I then insert into my Machine Learning AI from TensorflowJS. My Titles, keywords, phrases and patterns look so different most times that once a team sees my metrics and ranks rising they start to copy how my SEO looks just to compete totally adjacent to the tools they normally use. This is frustrating to companies as I can keep changing my data but theirs will always either look similar to the ones from their tools or a fairly similar version of my site page. Now remember I said, “Google Ranks Sites based on who got there first with the data.” So my take away is that if all these tools are so similar what I have must be unique enough to sell, but that is not my mission I want to help small businesses compete with the Goliaths of their like Industry. If you have a product that you think should compete with what is currently offered in the Nation then Jimnio SEO is for you.
